I’m Bill Dueber, a Systems Librarian at the University Library, University of Michigan. Mostly I muck about with Ex Libris products — we run Aleph, Metalib, and SFX, and gave up on Verde.
For the last while I’ve been hacking on VuFind, with the result being Mirlyn, the UMich OPAC. There’s still plenty of work to do.
I have undergraduate and MS degrees in Computer Science (from Gustavus Adolphus and Indiana University, respectively) and another MS in Instructional Systems Technology from IU. My wife Danit and I have been living in Michigan for almost four years now, and we really love Ann Arbor.
My kid’s name is Ziv. He’s awesome. [Edit: My other kid's name is Nadav. He is at least as awesome as his brother.]
